CarbonBright's AI powered platform enables CPG organizations to instantly measure a product's environmental footprint, even when primary data is fragmented or missing. As a result, it's faster, easier, and more cost effective for organizations in the CPG industry to identify their Scope 3 emissions, and take action to transform the sustainability of their supply chains.
This is a unique approach: most companies only have information on their emissions using a top down approach based on their spend information that gives approximate green house gas emissions. CarbonBright enables a bottoms up measurement of their emissions which is more precise and provides more detailed information that is actionable. CarbonBright is leveraging the AI platform shift to meet the increased demand for accurate carbon data, driven by increased regulatory pressure.
What was the inspiration for founding CarbonBright?
After spending 2 decades working in enterprise large scale data, Thejas wanted to leverage his skills to face one of the most pressing problems we’re facing as humankind - Climate Change. CarbonBright presented a great opportunity to use his experience and knowledge to make significant strides towards a solution.
