New User Insights to Help You Grow
The best way to figure out how to get new users is to get a good understanding of your current users. Once you know who loves your product the most and how they found you in the first place, you can develop a plan for finding more customers like them.
The reports we’re releasing today were all created with growth in mind. They’ll help you see where your users are coming from, which users are using your product the most and which orgs are adding the most members.
Here’s a quick intro to each of them:
Signup Query Parameters
Understanding where your users are coming from is key to making sure you’re making the right marketing investments. One easy way to track where your users are coming from is to add query parameters such as UTMs to your URLs.
Our new report (available via the User Insights page in the dashboard) makes it easy to see which query parameters your users had when signing up. You can also drill down to see all of the users associated with a particular parameter:
You can also see all of the parameters associated with a single user on their page:
Potential Champions & Top Inviters
If you’re hoping to grow within an organization, then it’s important to know who is already using and loving your product. We have two new reports that can help you with that.
The Potential Champions report shows you which of your users had the most active days over the last 30, 60 or 90 days:
The Top Inviters report shows you who has sent the most invitations over the last 30, 60, or 90 days:
Organization Size Changes
Knowing which of your organizations have been growing (or shrinking) can help you figure out where to focus your efforts. You’ll want to try to upsell your growing organizations and try to prevent your shrinking organizations from churning.
Our Organization Growth and Organization Attrition reports give you an easy way to see which of your organizations need the most attention by showing the orgs that grew and shrunk the most in the last 30, 60, and 90 days.
